Redbulls, are you ready to prepare for Fall Rally?
Fall Rally (Six Flags) is officially less than a month away! The October DCM will be very important Fall Rally prep filled with important information, music and games, spirit prep, spirit gear making, and fun! In this email I have outlined all the details for the October DCM as well as summarized details about FRS from my last email.
October DCM: A Spooky Spirit Session!
Are YOU ready to show So-Cal Key Clubs what YOU'RE made of and bond with your fellow Redbulls before Fall Rally?? Come to the October DCM to get ready to show off your Redbull pride and get hyped for FRS!! For this month's DCM, we are having another spirit prep to get ready for the rally at Six Flags! Members will learn/practice cheers and make their very own spirit sticks, spirit posters, and other spirit gear. This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to make a spirit stick because our very own Spirit Coordinators will be there to help and guide you through the process! They have each made multiple spirit sticks themselves, so they have very valuable expertise and advice. There will also be a service project for members to earn service hours! (the exact service project is TBD). We will also have Halloween-themed activities and fun!
If you are going to Fall Rally South (FRS) on Nov. 10th, this event is REQUIRED. This is because we will be discussing very important information about the event, what we will be doing at different times during the day, and transportation information that all attendees need to hear. However, even if you are not attending Fall Rally, all members are welcome to come! (and DCMs are still required for officers)

Poster making materials will be provided, but if you have any markers or art supplies you want to bring that would be much appreciated!
***T-shirt money will be collected at this event. However, the shirts will most likely arrive just in time for Fall Rally, so shirts will be distributed the morning of Fall Rally. If you are paying in cash, you must bring EXACT CHANGE! If you are bringing a check, please make the check out to "KYDS Club". All members should be giving their money to their respective Club President, who will then be giving the money to me!!!

Fall Rally South
Purpose
Many members are not aware of the real purpose of Fall Rally. At Fall Rally, we are not there just to have fun. We are not there just to gather all together and have spirit battles against one another. We are not there to just sell our merchandise and buy merchandise from other divisions. It's all of these and more. Specifically, we are there to celebrate raising money for the Pediatric Trauma Program. We want to be together to commemorate the joyous accomplishments we have made in our efforts to reduce the number of deaths by trauma, which is an easily preventable death. It helps that the spirit displayed at Fall Rally is overabundant, but remind the members of intentions in this event. Dates, Times, and Locations
Here is the date, time, and location for Fall Rally South:
WHEN: November 10th, 2018 | 8:00 AM-7:00 PM (the bus will most likely be departing at 5:30 am!!! Location of bus pick-up TBA)
WHERE: Six Flags Magic Mountain, Valencia, CA
SPIRIT RALLY: Golden Bear Theater | 3:00 PM
***There are 3 spirit rally sessions, but Division 37 South will be competing during the LAST rally (3PM)!
Tickets
Here are the details of the tickets:
PRICES: Pre-Sale is $42; On-site is $46; Ticket + catered meal is $55 if a member chooses to purchase a catered meal
SEASON PASS HOLDERS: Must pay $5 for entrance to the rally.*
Transportation Fees
We will be traveling to Six Flags via division buses as we do every year. Because of safety and liability issues, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you travel to Fall Rally via division buses. Members CANNOT transport or drive themselves, but they CAN be driven by a parent or guardian if they choose. However, this would be very inconvenient for the parent driving since Six Flags is about 2 hours away from us. Trust me, division buses are also the best and most convenient option for you. It will cost $42 per person for a seat on the bus.
Deadline to submit money: Friday, October 26th (our October DCM) ***This money will be collected beforehand by each Club President, who will then give the money to me at the upcoming Division Council Meeting (DCM) on Friday, October 26th.
